#GenerasiGIGIH Week 3 Reflection

Time flies — Without even realizing it, turned out we are already halfway through our Intermediate Phase at #GenerasiGIGIH Data Analyst Track…

The Formation of Northern Light

If I can describe my 3 weeks of learning using natural event, then I would go with the gorgeous lights that form streams of color in the night sky, from fascinating hues of green to pink, the Northern Light. Wait.. why is that? Is it just because I’m a big fan of nature beauty? Well, let me share the analogy with you—

Every second, one million tons of matter is blasted from the Sun at the velocity of one million miles per hour —

and it’s on a collision course with Earth! —

The energy emitted from this crash produces a spectacle of light that mankind has marveled at for centuries —

That learning spirit may not be visible, but if I could see, it would look dazzling like the northern lights ✨

80% Effort

During the class session, I tried to pay attention on the instructor’s explanation, being open to learn new things and relearn things that I’ve been familiar with, do the hands on activity on Big Query, and complete all the assignments given. But honestly, outside of class I didn’t explore much about other topics on data. Due to having an internship from 8am-4pm, I gave myself time to take a break, relax the mind and body after class ended to prevent burnout and boost my mental health.

“If you tell most, sort of, A-type athletes to run at their 85 percent capacity, they will run faster than if you tell them to run 100 because it’s more about relaxation and form and optimizing the muscles in the right way.” — Hugh Jackman
